This painting is my interpretive, artistic expression of the personal faith of the person who commissioned the painting as she communicated her faith to me. The painting portrays the presence of Jesus as the Light in the journey of life. Seen in the lower left of the painting, the journey begins in the mind of GOD before the creation of the world. Mans journey begins in the Garden of Eden, wrought by GOD in the lowest parts of the earth with all men ordained by GOD to be born of Water and the Spirit. Mans choice to enter into the Light and remain in the Light, (Jesus), is accentuated and highlighted in the painting by the contrasting elements of light and darkness.
